Job Application

Dear Sir/ Madam.

With reference to your advertisement in the “Lietuvos Rytas” newspaper of November 1st, I would like to apply for the position of the English teacher.

As you will see from my enclosed CV, I have two years’ experience in being a tutor. Moreover, I had attended psychology courses, which provided me the knowledge of children psychology. I am keen on teaching and spreading my knowledge among people. What is more, I have the ability to speak fluently Lithuanian, Russian and I have some basic German and Spanish language skills. At present I am employed as a tutor. At my present job, I have been responsible for the preparation for English language exam. My duties have included exercise making, explaining the material and the practice of language. I graduated English Philology in 'Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences University' in 2001. My ambition is to open my own language school called “Multilingual”.

I believe that I could cope with this job as I have a good experience in communicating with children and a very fluent English language. Furthermore, I could be the best helper in the class organization as I am a very reliable and cooperative person. I am especially keen to work in your school such as yours which has a reputation for having qualified teachers. If you have any questions concerning my work experience, I will be pleased to attend an interview at any time.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours faithfully,
Ana Žuralovič.
